Kindle Fire HDX vs iPad Air

Amazon and the Kindle Fire HDX is now taking aim at the recently released Apple iPad Air. Amazon unveiled the 7-inch and 8.9-inch Fire HDX models in September, which offer new high-res screens and a 24-hour tech support from Mayday Amy. Starting at $379, the larger Kindle Fire HDX includes a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 2,560-by-1,600 screen. The iPad Air, has the same 2,048-by-1,536-pixel display offered in the 3rd and 4th generation iPad and the retina iPad Mini.

Personally...I feel that iOS, iTunes, and the App Store are plenty of reasons to stick with the iPad Air instead of the new Kindle Fire HDX. What is your opinion?
