iPhone 5 Delayed To October

According to All Things D, Apple will not launch a new iPhone until mid-to-late October. AT&T employee vacation blackouts in late September appears to have little to do with an iPhone 5 launch. Many are expecting the new iPhone to include the A5 processor, increased 8-megapixel camera and work on GSM and CDMA basebands.

Apple has managed to capture nearly 70% of all mobile phone profits in this past quarter, with many anxious and holding off on a new phone purchase to see what Apple has to offer. Nokia, Motorola, LG, and Sony all saw losses in the mobile phone sector last quarter.
