Why Are Android Tablets Sucking?

Peter Misek (and analyst for Jeffries) has stated that Android tablets simply aren’t competitive. He also slashed his tablet forecast from 100 million to 70 million units in 2011.

“We have thus far been very disappointed with nearly every Android-based tablet”

The main reasoning for the failure of Android is in the price since Apple has such a low entry level in comparison to the Android tablets. Apple has still managed to keep the most expensive model as the most popular iPad 2 version. Over 1/3 are shelling out $829 for the 64GB iPad 2 3G like I did...with the entry level 16GB WiFi iPad 2 accounting for less than a quarter of sales.
