RIM OS Share Drops Near iOS

Android has been gaining market share in the smartphone market for the past 24 months...but it doesn't appear that iOS has been losing any market share to Android. RIM is the casualty of Android, dropping RIM nearly to the same levels as Apple iOS according to ComScore.

Apple has managed to gain their share of the smartphone market with only four different models of iPhone since it's release in 2007. Android and Google have somewhat forced their way to the top of the list with 25 different handset models in 2011, with over 100 models since 2008.
