Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference sold out in record time this year...hours after tickets went on sale yesterday. The WWDC 2011 announcement by Apple appears to leave an iPhone unveiling out of the event.
WWDC is the only mass gathering where actual Apple engineers really explain stuff to you about how their systems work, and will actually spend the time to look at your code in hands-on lab session. This must be the reason the WWDC conference sold out in 10 hours...maybe that and some profiteers trying to sell WWDC tickets on eBay at a $1,000 premium.
The quickly sold-out conference has likely left many people upset... "Can you imagine being a developer that didn’t hear about the announcement this morning, then coming home from work and seeing that it’s already sold out? Jeez."
