Lengthy iPad 2 Shipping Delays Already!
Well, at 3:00am Central the iPad was available online with an expected shipping time frame of 3-5 days...which seemed a little long to start with at launch. After about 2 hours, the shipping delay changed to 5-7 days. But maybe Apple wasn't quite prepared for the demand that would be coming today. Many savvy iPad purchasers were probably waiting since early January for the "next" tablet...essentially building the iPad 2 demand up.
The shipment delay has increased from 3-5 days to 14-21 days (2-3 weeks) which is close to where the first iPad shipment delays were.
