There has been some chatter these past couple days regarding to the "Huge changes for Chronic-Dev Team soon. We're all really excited!" tweet by p0sixninja. It is now clear that the iPhone Dev Team is working on an iPad 2 Jailbreak...and it appears they are getting very close to the jailbreak.
Since the SHAtter exploit has been patched the Dev Team has been working overtime to find the next exploit. The new A5 SoC (system-on-a-chip) has brought a new challenge to the Dev Team and other jailbreakers. But with the new iPhone 5 to likely include the A5, this iPad 2 sort of gives them a head start in gaining an understanding of what they are up against.
Now lets leave p0sixninja and the other hackers alone so they can work through this iPad jailbreak out...until then, you have to decide if you want to stick with your keep your iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak or upgrade your 1st generation iPad to iOS 4.3.
