LG Optimus Pad

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) Expo has already brought us the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, now LG and its Optimus Pad has joined the Motorola Xoom as another Honeycomb tablet being displayed. The LG Optimus Pad, like the other iPad competitors, has yet to announce a firm launch date or price. LG scrapped this tablet last summer to wait for Android Honeycomb.

This tablet is between the highly successful 9.7 inch iPad and DOA 7 inch Galaxy Tab at 8.9 inches. With a 5:3 aspect ratio at a 1280 x 768 resolution, this tablet is again slightly different. This tablet includes a 5 MP camera on the back, front facing 2 MP camera and an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. Last year, the LG display used on the iPad was seen as the bottleneck in the long shipping delays.
