iPhone 4, GSM-CDMA Qualcomm Gobi Chip

It didn't take iFixit very long to tear into a new Verizon iPhone 4 to take a quick peak. It appears that the Verizon version of the iPhone is running a dual-mode Qualcomm Gobi MDM6600 modem. This supports GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA, HSDPA, HSPA and EV-DO along with GPS.

This may point toward an iPhone 5 worldphone...they forgot a SIM slot in the Verizon phone though.

Other changes found in this teardown are that the battery has a new model number and the vibrating motor has been relocated.
