HTC has been making huge tablet-like phones for almost a year now, and is finally making a splash into the larger tablet market with the HTC Flyer. This tablet includes a 1.5 GHz single-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, a front-facing 1.3MP camera and rear-facing 5MP camera. The 7-inch screen has a resolution of 1024 x 600 and includes a pressure sensitive stylus in a nice unibody aluminum casing.
This tablet is running Android 2.4 and includes the basics: WiFi b/g/n, MicroSD Slot, DLNA support, HDMI-out, and Bluetooth. The HTC Flyer weighs just under 1 pound and has a thickness of 12mm (half-inch thick).
As with many of the tablets being shown at MWC, the HTC Flyer price and availablity date are still fuzzy... 2011Q2 and approximately 499 Euros ($670 US Dollars).
