iOS 4.3 For iPad

Beta 1 of iOS 4.3 was released late yesterday when Apple made this available via the developer portal. There is a host of goodies in this latest iOS version, here are a few of the highlights.

Many were not happy with the removal of the orientation lock function of this switch, Apple must have received enough feedback (complaints) regarding the removal of this feature. New camera effects appear to be included in this iOS 4.3 beta version, kaleidoscope, thermic, light tunnel to name a few.

It appears that iOS 4.3 doesn't support the iPhone 3G or 2nd gen iPod touch, leading us to believe that iOS 4.2.1 may be that final Apple software release for these older device.

The iOS 4.3 SDK appears to mention the unannounced new iPhone and iPads. This code references 3 different types of iPads, which is consistent with previous rumors that the new iPad will be available in GSM, CDMA and WiFi-only version.

It appears that comex and others are awaiting the new iOS to be released before the latest jailbreak for iOS 4.3 on your iPad.
