iPad iLock

Now that you have upgraded to iOS 4.2.1 on your iPad, MobileMe is free...but if your are still concerned about your iPad being stolen and becoming unrecoverable, there is a solution for you.

Maclocks developed the iPad Lock, basically a clear plastic case combined with a Kensington type cable lock which connects to the side of your case.

This is probably a good idea for an iPad that is available at a public place such as a restuarant or maybe inside a car dealership. But the $65 price-tag may be enough to deter someone to buy for a personal iPad.

This maybe a good idea if you have your iPad dashmounted in your could probably hide the cable underneath the dash, a car thief will likely not have his lock cutter with him.

Maybe the iPad can learn to defend itself...

I think the Kindle will lose with a KO!
