Galaxy Tab Competing With iPad, Initially

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab has sold 600,000 units in just under a month. As you may recall, the iPad reached one million sold in 28 days.

During the iPad’s initial release, it was largely confined to the domestic U.S market. As compared to the 7-inch Galaxy Tab which has been available all over the world since launch. According to the Korea Herald, Samsung has shifted just 30,000 Tabs in its own home market of Korea.

The Galaxy Tab is now available in more than 30 countries in North America, Europe and Asia.
