Verizon iPad Available Today

Apple's iPad is available through Verizon Wireless as of today.

More the 2,000 Verizon Wireless stores will offer three bundles with an iPad Wi-Fi model, along with the company's MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, a small device that provides access to Verizon's 3G network.

16GB iPad Wi-Fi and the mobile hot spot for $630

32GB Wi-Fi model and hot spot will retail for $730

Verizon will be selling the 64GB Wi-Fi iPad with the hot spot for $830.


Verizon will also offer all three iPad Wi-Fi models without the hot spot. Verizon is offering the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB iPad models for $629.99, $729.99, and $829.99, respectively. Verizon is also selling the iPad without the MiFi bundle for $499, $599, and $699.


According to Verizon, the cheapest option offers 1GB of monthly data for $20. The prices go up to $35, $50, and $80 per month for 3GB, 5GB, and 10GB usage per month, respectively. Verizon said that its plans are month-to-month, so people are not required to sign a contract to access its 3G network.
