Almost as scary as Snakes on a plane...
Firstly, how could anyone leave something like an iPad on an airplane. As a parent myself, I am easily distracted...but wouldn't lose sight of my iPad!
Curtis Cogdill and his wife on a recent flight from Sacramento to Portland lost their iPad, according to a report on CNN. In the rush of getting themselves and their baby off of the plane, they left their more important baby (iPad).
Curtis used his iPod Touch and the Find My iPhone MobileMe App to locate the iPad. While the family watched in Oregon, the iPad was taken a cross-country trip to Orlando, Fla.
"You could zoom all the way in," said Cogdill. "You could tell it was sitting where an airplane would be sitting at the terminal."
He basically got to watch his iPad airport in Orlando, but the trip wasn't over yet. Curtis noticed the iPad leaving the plane and being "carried out of the airport", stopping at a local house.
With the help of a SouthWest Airlines supervisor and police in Orlando, the Cogdill's got their iPad back.
