iOS Nearly Half Of Mobile Advertising

Apple maintains its strangle-hold of the top spot for mobile device manufacturers, with a 29% share of all ad impressions on Millennial’s network, and an impressive 48% share of all smartphone ad impressions.


iAds went live on July 1, with 17 brands getting interactives and in-app ads for apps running iOS. The number of brands has since doubled, Apple told BusinessWeek. The iPad is trailing behind as it is still waiting for iOS 4.2 to arrive in (hopefully early) November!
