iPad Passes Android

In only 3 months on the market, Apple's iPad has come to represent 17 out of 1000 of all Web browser traffic tracked by Net Applications. The iPad's June total managed to exceed Android, which represented 14 out of 1000 for all Web browsing traffic.

Apple's most high-profile iOS device, the iPhone, was revealed by Net Applications to carry a one-third share of all mobile browsers. Compared this to 14 percent for Symbian (Nokia), 6 percent for Android, 4 percent for RIM BlackBerry, and 3 percent for Windows Mobile
